AYSO regions are local community-centered organizations run by parent volunteers where parents and children enjoy soccer together. We ask the important adult role models in a child’s life to contribute to the program. Coach Mom or Coach Dad organizes practices and games, sharing soccer the way they learned in our coach clinics. Team Parent Managers handle team communication and the all-important snack lists. Practice Parents assist during practices by rounding up stray balls, assisting with water breaks, and helping the coach set up.
If you aren’t available during the week, then Referee is a great way to spend time with your child’s team, helping your child’s team with the rules of soccer.
If you like being outside, be a Field Assistant or Safety Assistant arriving a few minutes before the games to mark the fields and set up the goals. You will enjoy the company of volunteers helping with their second and third children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. If we all help a little, we have fun creating a FUN, Fair, Family AYSO Soccer experience.
Apply to be an AYSO Volunteer
For the safety of your child and all of our players, adults must complete a volunteer application at the national AYSO registration site. This secured site will process your information and run a background check. The application takes approximately 10 minutes, or less if you have your Driver’s License/State ID handy.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in making our league a great, safe place for children.
